Technology Driven Learning
The T.E.A.L. (Technology Enabled Academic Learning) project offers an engaging learning platform where students watch videos to learn without a lecture from a teacher. The video watching is followed up with the teacher facilitating activities designed to apply the concepts learnt. This approach has significantly enhanced students’ understanding and love for learning.
At government schools where our T.E.A.L. (Technology Enabled Academic Learning) programme was implemented, enrolment surged by 44%, and attendance rose by 34% a testament to the power of engaging instruction and renewed student motivation. These gains underscore a deeper truth: when learning is joyful and relevant, students show up, participate, and thrive.

Read To Grow, Read To Learn
In addition to the conventional library with paper books, the DIL Trust UK “Read to Grow, Read to Know” e-library initiative allows students to access iPads for reading comprehension in English. These tablets are a low-cost, innovative way to get engaging stories into the hands of each reader at schools where library space is limited.
Additionally, the whole community benefits from the library, with the school encouraging students’ family members to borrow books to help foster a reading culture that extends beyond school.

Benefits
Increased reading fluency, comprehension, and confidence
Enhanced engagement in independent reading
Strengthened librarian capacity through targeted training
Expanded access to leveled reading materials through both print and digital formats
34,093 Students
Benefited from the programme in 2024 across 136 schools including 66 government and partner schools.
122 Librarians
And supporting language teachers were trained to facilitate reading sessions and promote effective library use.
